Collaborations

Tune inThe awareness that African people have of other cultures is fascinating, the sensitivity towards what other people have to bring to the world. Not content to have a wealth of talent, body and soul food and precious stones, we are ready to embrace what the rest of the world has to offer. And this goes for music as well. Both the musical ingeniosity and the lyrical wit of people of the world is recognised. There is quite a helping advantage here. We speak, sometimes on top of one or more of our tribal languages (like Duala for me), many French, some German, some Arabic, some Italian, quite some Portuguese, many English and that opens up quite a few communication doors :). So it is not so surprising that we want to explore beyond the borders of our continent and mind what can bring more riches to us and sometimes just make us go back to our very roots. This section looks at some of the collaborations that have taken place between Africa and the rest of the world.
