Coconut and cassava dumplings (Madagascar) PDF Print E-mail

These dumplings are bought a lot in the street of Madagascar

 

For 6 people

Preparation: 10 minutes

Cooking: 20 minutes

 

Ingredients

800 g of grated cassava

100 g of grated coconut

120 g of sugar

100 g of butter

1 egg

Icing sugar

Preparation

Pour in a dans une terrine, the grated cassava, grated coconut, the sugar, the egg and the soften butter

Mix to obtain an homogeneous

Make out balls from this dough and fry in hot and clean oil

When the dumplings are golden, drain and put down on a plate covered with absorbing paper

Let them cool and sprinkle with icing sugar

Serve
