Food - Sauces, soups and stews

Boil the peanuts and remove the skin then crush them

Mix well the raw kwem with the crushed peanuts

Cut the meat in pieces

Put the oil on a saucepan on the heat

Cut the onions and fry them in the oil

Fry the meat and brown it

Pour the kwem mixed with the peanuts in the saucepan  containing the meat and continue to fry

Add some water, some de l'écorce ou une ou deux cuillerées de homi (bobimbi en douala), du dibanga (écévisses séchées), saler, pimenter.

Tu peux aussi ajouter céléri, poivrons et poireaux écrasés.

Laisser mijoter pendant longtemps jusqu'à cuisson du kwem

Il faut souvent tourner le contenu de a casserolle pour éviter que les arachides ne brulent et ne collent au fond de la casserole.

If you prepare the kwem with the smoked fish, add the fish when the kwem is alsmost cooked to stop it from crumbling.

Serve with rice, some fufu or other complementary food.
