This meal is not usually consumed in Mali simply because the vegetables are expensive there but the meal is from Mali. The putting together of spinach and peanut makes the meal digest.

Ingredients

600 g of beef meat

200 g of peanut paste

500 g of spinach

2 green onions

1 leek

1 tomato

1 teaspoon of powder gombos

2 tablespoons of peanut oil

1 chili

Salt, pepper

Preparation

Cut the meat in pieces

Wash the green onions, the leek and the tomato

Cut the tomato roughly and keep on the side

Finely mince the green onions and the leek

In a pressure cooker, heat the oil and put the beef to brown on high heat

Add the green onions, the leek, the tomato, the gombo powder, the chili, salt and pepper

Stir and lower the heat

In a terrine, delay the peanut paste in 2 glasses of water

Pour the mix in the saucepan

Chop the spinach grossly and add to the meat

Cover and simmer for about 1 hour and 15 minutes

The meat must be doit être smooth and the sauce homogeneous

Serve warm with boiled white rice for example
